Canada Class have had a fantastic start to the Autumn term.
We have been enjoying our new PE days, where we have 2 lessons in one day. In the morning, we have been working on our multi-skill outside. In the afternoon, we have been alternating personal skills and gymnastics in the hall.
In geography, we have been learning about different types of biomes. We went to Hummer Woods to discuss biomes further; we had a fantastic morning. In English, we wrote a recount about our trip - paying special attention to time conjunctions and coordinating conjunctions. We have been working hard on our SPaG skills this half term too.
This half term in Maths, we have been working on place value, number lines and rounding . We have been working on our times table recall, we are all getting very quick!
In music, we have been working on body percussion - Sound Unit in Silence - we are becoming more confident with our singing too. In art, Darrell Wakeman came in and we worked together as a year group to create some wonderful 3D art. We are very excited for the next half term!
